“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

I have come to realize that when I become frustrated I have an issue. The issue is not the situation I am facing. It is not the disappointment with what someone did or didn’t do. The issue is with me that I forget to obey the word of God. In whatever I was facing I did not choose to put my trust in God. Situations will come and go. People will fail you; and, yes we will fail others. But the question I had to ask myself is “Do I trust God no matter what disappointment or discouraging news is presented to me?”

Life is always changing. There are no guarantees in this life and it is continually changing. The only immovable, rock solid, dependable, never changing, always consistent force in this life is the creator of the universe, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, God the father. This is true freedom when we consistently put our trust in him.

So, the next time you feel a little frustration coming on STOP YOURSELF, go to God in prayer, ask what you need him do for you and then thank him for working on your behalf. Do Philippians 4:6, MOVE AHEAD and leave the results to God. Remember,

FAITH is always moving forward.
